Job Title: Student Assistant (Part-Time)

Location: Woodstock, Cape Town
Hours: Part-time, approximately 10 hours per week
Contract Type: Part-time / Student Position

About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Student Assistant to support our team with a variety of research, administrative, and social media tasks. This role is ideal for a motivated student who is organized, curious, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Research Support

• Conduct desk research on a wide range of topics

• Gather, organize, and summarize information for internal use

• Assist with data collection, fact-checking, and preparation of reports or presentations

Administrative Support

• Provide general administrative assistance to the team

• Help with scheduling, document management, and filing

• Support day-to-day operational tasks as needed

Social Media Support

• Assist with social media content planning and scheduling

• Conduct research on trends, hashtags, and best practices

• Help monitor engagement and compile basic performance insights

Requirements

• Currently enrolled as a student (any relevant field welcome)

• Strong research and organizational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Comfortable with basic digital tools (e.g. Google Workspace, Microsoft Office)

• Interest in social media and digital communication

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively​
